Online help that works. At your own pace and your own place. Three different options.

Online Modules

Choose from a range of self-guided modules that target common student challenges such as low mood, stress, procrastination, and sleep. Work through the modules at your own pace where and when it suits you.

All of the modules are based on Cognitive-Behavioural-Therapy (CBT) and have been found to help improve mental health.

Modules + Coach

The same online modules but with a coach. While you are completing the modules you will receive support from an online coach who provides text-based feedback on the interactive assignments and your overall progress.

For this research, we will randomly allocate people to work with a coach. Your participation will help us learn who does best steering their own waka and who does best with someone giving extra support. ​​

Skills Seminars

Take part in confidential online seminars - join without your camera on and just your first name for extra privacy. 

 

The skills you will learn are grounded in the science of CBT and will help you master strategies to manage your emotions, wellbeing, and mental health.​

​

​Seminars run for ten weeks with one 60-minute seminar every week. There are five different topics and you can come to as many as you can. They are run through Zoom. Seminars are offered on several different times and days. You can skip sessions when study gets busy. 

Treatment as Usual

To help us understand if online or kanohi ki te kanohi is better for some students than others, some students will be asked to use their usual mental health service instead of an online option.
